Rules

Rules
All users of the league must adhere to these rules, and will be penalised harshly if any of them are broken...

General Rules

1: No scripts or hacks, this league is just for fun so anyone spoiling it for other people will be banned.

2: If you are caught cheating or causing trouble, you will be banned from the league.

3: Don't whinge, don't moan, don't talk crap about other people, just have fun!

4: Don't be abusive towards other players.

Challenge Rules

5: You are never given matches to play, it's up to you to find someone to challenge.

6: If you challenge somebody, you are responsible for finding a server that has all the maps you need to play your match on. If you can't find a server, a list of servers that are available for CSL is given here.

7: It is up to teams to meet up and play their match after they have been challenged through the forum or through steam, a link is provided to steam community profiles through the CSL profile system, add each other.

8: You need to make sure that you have all the correct maps installed before challenging anyone. All the maps can be found here

9: If you would like to have your match recorded for a highlights video, please contact one of the 'camera men' from the team section.

Match Rules

Important! 10: In a match, each player must take screenshots of the 'status' command typed into the console (when both teams are in the server) and a demo of each map being played must be recorded (type 'record <demoname>' into the console).

11: Each player must take a screenshot of their ending score (press TAB in-game) for each map.

12: In the event of a dispute, or mismatch of results, the demos and screenshots will be requested - if you are missing any files points will be deducted.

13: There will be 2 maps played (1 chosen by each team), if the two teams are far away, you need to play one map on a server near to one team and the other on a server close to the other team. This is important to deal with lag issues

14: No SMG, machete or huntsman unless the league you are playing in states otherwise. Bodyshots are allowed and do count as a kill - don't whine about it.

15: Ammo and health pickups are allowed, and you are allowed to go back to the resupply if you want

16: Each map will last for 10 minutes, at the end of this time, both teams must stop and take screenshots of their scores.

17: Players must not 'time waste'. This means hiding behind walls for too long so that the clock runs down to their advantage. Players caught doing this will be kicked off the league, its not good 'e-sportsmanship'.

Results + Scoring Rules

18: Each player will submit their results for each map individually. Once all players have submitted the results, they will be processed and scores will be updated.

19: In the event of any disputes or breach of the rules, email sniping {at} chimoosic.co.uk with the deatils, and where applicable a demo file or screenshots.

20: Please see the tables below for the scoring system. If a wager is placed on the match your score will be +/- the wager. Figures for the difference are in % of total points.
